Educator Grant Fund

The Shifted Classrooms Educator Grant Fund allows individual community advocates, local organizations, and union chapters to directly subsidize registration and graduate credit costs for military-connected educators overseas.

How does it work?

Contributions to the Educator Grant Fund are commercial event sponsorships applied directly to hard operational costs, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for attending educators. Grant funds are never distributed as personal income, cash, or gift cards to individuals.

  • USD Credit Grants ($79): Remitted directly to USD PCE for participant credit registration.

  • Teacher Scholarships ($150): Offsets venue admission, materials, and catered lunch for an individual educator.

  • Event & Union Grants ($500+): Reduces registration pricing across the board for all attendees or union members only upon request.

The recommended tiers are tied to specific operational costs, however contributors have the option to enter a custom amount. For customized amounts, please indicate the intended purpose of the contribution in the comments upon submission.

Shifted Classrooms operates as an independent, commercial off-duty enterprise under approved commercial authorization. Shifted Classrooms is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Department of Defense (DoD) or DoDEA/DoWEA.
