YOUR COMMITMENT

  • Serves as the local shipping address for all mailed event materials (books, tech, signage). You will bring everything to the venue on the day of the event.

  • Coordinates directly with school or venue staff to physically open the room in the morning and secure it at the end of the day. You will arrive early to unpack mailed materials, arrange the seating layout, and ensure all displays and tech are running smoothly before the speaker arrives.

  • Serves as the point of contact for the pre-ordered food delivery right before the lunch break, simply guiding the driver to the setup tables and making sure the coffee station is accessible.

    (Shifted Classrooms will continue to handle all other logistics, including securing the venue, hotel for the speaker, ordering a catered lunch, event registration, and USD credit enrollments.)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Availability Requirement: You confirm you are available to arrive at the venue at least one hour before the official event start time, and can receive mail through an FPO/APO mailbox.

  • Cancellation: Because the speaker’s schedule relies on you, you agree to give at least 14 days' notice if you can no longer fulfill these duties, so we may reassign the role.
